October 2016

From the Yearbook Interns:

We are so excited to be creating the yearbook for the class of 2017. The Patriot Yearbook has two interns who are returning members and are looking to train underclassmen on how to build future yearbooks. Ms. Lowe is the returning Patriot Yearbook advisor and anyone who is interested in working on the yearbook may go see Mrs. Lowe upstairs in room 71. Meetings are Tuesdays right after school. There is casual commitment to the meetings and we are always looking for suggestions. The yearbook committee is in the process of getting the official book started and have many ideas ready to go. This year we will be using Jostens Publishing company and we are excited to use their online yearbook-creation program. Mrs. Penny, the school librarian will be helping us make a digital copy of this yearbook. This will mean there is a permanent online copy of all North Middlesex’s yearbooks past and present, for students to enjoy.

Plenty of surveys will be going out online for the yearbook community to understand what the student body would like to see published. Surveys to come include, superlatives, favorite things, top fives, college bound, shout outs, and more. So be sure to be thinking about what you would like to see in the yearbook, how you would like to be remembered, and to let the Yearbook Club know any ideas you may have!
