Performing Arts

The North Middlesex Regional High School Wind Symphony has been invited to perform at the 2016 Massachusetts Music Educator’s Association (MMEA) Conference. Our performance will be at the Seaport Hotel Ballroom on Friday, March 11th at 10:25 a.m. as part of a conference “Concert Hour.” There are typically only 2 concert hour events over the course of the conference and 2 groups perform at each concert hour event. These events are intended to showcase the finest ensembles in Massachusetts across all genres and grade levels. Since only 4 groups are typically chosen, the selection process is extremely competitive.

North Middlesex Theater is a drama group known as the North Middlesex Players is actively involved in the preparation and production of two or three full-length plays per year and a one-act play for the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild (METG) State Drama Festival in March.

The NM Band Program had a very successful 2014-2015 school year with Gold Medal performances at the MICCA Marching band Concert Festivals, as well as First Place finishes for the Marching Band and Winter Color Guard at their respective NESBA season-end finals. The Wind Symphony made its 4 appearance at Symphony Hall this past April and our students represented NM at the Central District, All-State and All-Eastern Music Festivals. We're looking forward to another rewarding fun year for 2015-2016!
