Riddle of the Week

Try me

How can number four be 1/2 of five?
E-mail your guesses to Mrs. Penney
Last week's answer: A crossing gourd

Mr. Chew!
Our marvelous new Spanish teacher.

Q: What is your go-to ice cream flavor?
My favorite is Chocolate Tsunami at Hayward's Ice Cream in Nashua (sometimes called "Death by Chocolate")

Q: If you could be any animal, what would you be?
As a kid, I used to think of myself as a monkey because I was always climbing trees.  Now I'm probably built more like an orangutan, but if I could choose an animal, I guess I would say a big cat, like a panther.

Q: What do you like most about NM?
So far, my favorite thing about teaching at NM is the willingness that students have to go along with my different way of doing things, to step out of their comfort zones, which makes it easier for me to step out of my own.

Q: Choose a title for the story of your life.
"Around the world in 80 years" because that's probably how long it will take to actually get everywhere I'd like to visit.
