From the Principal’s Desk…

Dear North Middlesex Families,

This week sixteen student council delegates attended the three-day Massachusetts Association of Student Council leadership conference in Hyannis. After attending many workshops and listening to motivational speakers, the event culminated with the presentation of the association's highest awards.  The NM student council was one of  ten schools from across the commonwealth to receive the TOP TEN project award for their Memorial Day program.  In addition, the NM Council of Excellence book earned a Gold Council of Excellence award. Congratulations to all the NM student council members who have worked so hard on this year's projects. These awards are a testament to the high standards of service of the student leadership at NM!

Just a reminder, English Language Arts MCAS will be administered to all grade 10 students on 3/21, 3/22, and 3/23.  It is important for your child to be in school and be in school on time. Please encourage your child to get a good night’s rest and eat a good breakfast each day. Sophomores will not receive homework or have tests/quizzes on MCAS days. On that note, as another reminder, Tuesday (3/21) is a full day of school.
