One Room, Many Ideas

Over the coming months, I plan to share some of the great new facilities that we will have in the new building. I am starting with the Large Group Instruction Room, which can accommodate up to 60 students at desks, and 100 students seated.

Ms. Lowe (English)

“I will utilize the space for group and class presentations such as EdCafes or other student-lead discussions. The typical classroom is too small to effectively space students out for, especially when desks need to be circled or grouped for visual and audio presentations. With a larger space, I can see this being a much easier process and would allow for more interactive student-lead discussions and small group presentations.”

Ms. Cooper (French)

“I plan to use the room for student to practice their small group and partner speaking assessments.”

Ms. Connor
(Social Studies)

“I will use this room for co-teaching opportunities, either within departments or cross-curricular.”

Ms. Romano (Guidance)
“I will use the room for guest speakers, such as college reps and alumni.”
