The Steps and Achieve programs served their annual Thanksgiving meal this week, and for the first time parents were invited. It was great to see our students, staff, and families enjoying a brunch of homemade waffles, bacon, quiche, fresh fruit, french toast, as well as assorted cheeses and nibbles.
This year the theme of the meal was ‘Thanksgiving Brunch,’ which contrasted with the more traditional ‘Foods we are thankful for’ theme last year. In line with their community living curriculum, students plan the menu, purchase the ingredients, cook the meal, and plan the decor.
Freshman vs. Sophomores
The sophomore class made a second half comeback to clinch the win over their younger freshman counterparts.
Juniors vs. Seniors
The juniors defeated the seniors in a close game, powered by great coaching, great teamwork and a last minute touchdown
