NM Knows

Usually your teachers tell you not to run and jump around in the hallways, but this week Mr. Daigle’s biology students were told to do just that! As they warm up to a year as young biologists, these freshmen and sophomores set to work testing a variety of hypotheses around heart rates.

Mr. Daigle’s students will only get to run in the halls once this year, but their teacher believes in designing his lessons to keep students active and engaged. Typically students will encounter a bit of everything in each of his classes, from reading and notetaking, to data analysis, observation, and hypothesis formulation. Mr. Daigle’s heart rate increases when sharing his passion for biology, and he has no stomach for slackening the pace!
