From the Principal’s Desk…

Dear North Middlesex Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of you at our open house yesterday! For those of you who were not able to attend, please do not hesitate to call or email your child’s teachers or guidance counsellor if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would just like to introduce yourself. Click here for our staff directory.

On Monday I will be sending out the first addition of ‘NM Knows’ which aims to give parents an insight into the curricular and instructional culture at NM. Please keep an eye out for this email, and let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions.

The late bus runs on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The bus leaves the high school at 3:45. Students require a pass from a teacher to board the bus (for example, if a student stays for extra help, the teacher will provide a pass). Please encourage your child to take advantage of this bus to stay for clubs or extra help.

Sincerely,

Isaac Taylor

Principal

NM ATHLETICS

Concussion Awareness Week!

For the second year, the MIAA and ThinkTaylor have partnered up to help bring awareness about the signs and symptoms of concussions and the severity of the effects the injury can have on a person.  Our teams, especially boys and girls soccer, will be supporting the cause by wearing orange sweatbands provided by the ThinkTaylor Foundation. Come out and support our athletic teams and wear your orange to help raise awareness about this injury.

Girls and boys Varsity Soccer will host an Orange Game under the lights, supporting the ThinkTaylor Foundation, on Wednesday September 14th vs. Lunenburg:   Girls at 5pm and Boys at 7pm

Team Up Day!

NM is excited to participate in Team Up Day on September 13th!  Along with the Concussion Legacy Foundation, we’re pledging to Team Up & Speak Up to Fight Concussions.  Looking out for teammates is an important message that ALL athletes should hear on Team Up Day.  Join us and take the pledge at www.TeamUpDay.org
