This Giving Tree season was the most successful in 9 years. We supported 330 children, Ginny's Helping Hand, and local senior citizens with 1,697 gifts. We were able to provide 10 food baskets and 40 boxes/bags of supplemental food and personal hygiene/cleaning products too. In addition, we collected $660 for local fuel assistance and $160 to support Heifer International. Generosity and compassion are alive and well at North Middlesex.
The Giving Tree Sorting Day was an enormous success. 142 volunteers logged over 529 hours of service working to sort, shop, and wrap gifts for 328 local children! Great thanks to Matthew White, Danielle Crouse, Samantha Libonate, Liz Palmer and Caleb Chew for their hard work and coordination of the program.
